Asgard Mission
The epic campaign where the Commandos travel to the realm of the gods to stop a CVE invasion.
The Asgard Mission (also known as the Asgardian Campaign) is a pivotal event in the Black Forest Shadow universe. It marks the transition of the Commandos from a local defense force to a multi-realm security agency.
Overview
Almost 160 years after the events of Black Forest Shadow, the Commandos are summoned by Thor to Asgard. The CVEs, being known to be agents of the god-turned-villain Angra Mainyu, have launched an invasion of Asgard, threatening to corrupt the realm's divine infrastructure. Asgardian weapons and tactics are no match for the CVEs, which are able to adapt and evolve rapidly. The Commandos must use their unique skills to defend Asgard and stop the CVE invasion.
The mission is depicted in the Docker Commandos workshop series and the upcoming comic book Black Forest Commandos: Asgard Mission.
