Gord

A veteran swordmaster from the Black Forest. Gord led the fight against CVE monsters in 1865 and now commands the Asgard mission. Direct, disciplined, and always first through the door.

Rothütle

Recognizable by his red fedora and bright orange shirt, Rothütle is the team's strategist. He mapped the entire landscape of Asgard before the others arrived — an SBOM for the battlefield.

Jack

Half man, half machine. Jack's cybernetic sensors can detect a CVE hiding in any package layer. He appeared on the back cover of the Docker and Kubernetes Security book alongside Gord.

The Valkyrie

Asgard's own identity specialist. The Valkyrie issues cryptographic attestations — ID cards that travel with every resident and cannot be forged.

Artemisia

Recruited from the golden gates of Asgard's most fortified district. Artemisia knows how to recognize a CVE on sight — hardened images are her home territory.

Wilhelmina (Mina)

Mina hunts the CVEs that aren't a real threat — the ones that lurk harmlessly but trigger false alarms. She files VEX exemptions so the team can focus on what matters.

RuinTan

Fell in battle and came back stronger. Mina found RuinTan fighting alone and delegated exemption issuing to her. RuinTan signs every exemption card and attaches it directly to the CVE's record.

Captain Ahab

The grizzled naval veteran who turns chaos into order. Ahab codifies the entire mission into a Bake file — one command to build, attest, and ship the whole fleet.

Evie

Quiet, precise, and never misses. While the party celebrated, Evie slipped away and signed every attestation with her private key. "A document without a signature is just a rumor."

Agent Null

The team's most enigmatic member — and its greatest threat. Null represents zero-day vulnerabilities: unknown, untracked, and dangerous. The mission isn't over until Null is found.
