SBOM

The divine list of Asgardian residents provided by Thor.

SBOM

In the lore of the Asgard Mission, the SBOM is a sacred list provided by Thor to the Commandos. It contains the true names and origins of every resident, object, and process within the divine realm.

The Key to Security

Without the SBOM, it would be impossible to distinguish between a true citizen of Asgard and a CVE Monster of Type 3 (Host Infestation). By cross-referencing the population against this list, Rothütle and The Valkyrie are able to identify anomalies and secure the realm's checkpoints.

Implementation

During the Asgard Mission, the Commandos use the SBOM to set up a comprehensive verification system. Every being passing through the checkpoints or moving between districts is checked against the list. Those who are not on the list, or whose nature does not match their entry, are flagged for immediate investigation by Agent Null or Valkyrie.

Trivia

  • In the world of DevSecOps, SBOM stands for Software Bill of Materials, a comprehensive list of all components and dependencies used in a piece of software.
